The different live foods available

Leopard geckos are insectivorous therefore they only eat insects. Never feed any bugs that you have caught from outside. They could have been eating things sprayed by pesticides and other chemicals. Never feed a leopard gecko anything that is larger than the space between their eyes as it can cause impaction and they may have trouble swallowing.
There are lots of different live foods that you can feed your leopard gecko, but make sure they are gut loaded (fed good food). Supplements are also needed, multivitamins and calcium are a necessity. A milk bottle cap or pop bottle cap worth of calcium should be offered at all times in the Vivarium. Along with the cap, the food should be dusted with calcium about five days a week. The multivitamin should be used to dust the food source two times a week. How we do it is we dust with calcium 5 days a week then on a weekend dust with vitamins, we also have 1 bottle top per leopard gecko full of calcium needed. The products we use are Lime Stone Flour (rich in calcium) and as good as the 'reptile packaged 'stuff but a lot cheaper. For the vitamins we use nutrobal. Again there are many choices out there for you to try.
We personally believe in variety for our leopard geckos as they tend to get 'bored' if fed the same food all the time. We have a bowl of mealworms in the vivarium at all times, we also offer them locusts, and dubia roaches (I can't do crickets) and for treats they get Wax worms, silkworms, butter worms. You can also feed your leopard gecko phoenix worms (also known as calci grubs)
